Pretty little petals on a sun kissed beach
Standing alone waiting for some company.
And the company never comes.
Until you least expect it, you're not alone
Any longer but the test has just begun.
 
Pretty little sun petals rubbed off on each
Cheek to cheek feeling complete and desired.
But the fire demised and shriveled up a bond
Near dead flowers that may be dead and gone.
 
Pretty dead little petals that found each other
That danced together and loved forever
Now blow away from one another
Until one day comes to find each other.
